Skyboat was born from a desire to create a space that was equally about the kids and the grown-ups. A place where you would want to go for coffee and meet with friends and where you know that your kids can play and have a great time.

Skyboat is run by two local Mums, Lara and Stef, who have six children between them (!) Lara studied at the Royal College of Art has used her background to create a design-led environment to where little one’s imaginations can run wild.

Lara met Stef, at a children’s birthday party and quickly realised they shared the same creative vision. Stef has brought her experience of the catering industry and her background working Michelin starred restaurants to deliver a top cafe experience, where parents and carers can enjoy delicious food, beautiful coffee and teas, in a relaxed and informal setting. 

Skyboat Café is a community hub for young families in Redland and surrounding areas; a place for parents and kids to meet people and make friends and a support network for new mums. Skyboat Café is proud to be part of a fiercely independent local high street on Coldharbour Road and has a collaborative relationship with local businesses.
